Vintage 1940s Wilton Mount Tulip Covered Aluminum Bowl

Vintage 1940s Wilton Mount covered aluminum serving bowl from Joy, Pennsylvania. This substantial, well-made piece features a gently scalloped rim, hammered finish, and an engraved bouquet of tulips across the lid. The sculptural lid handle is shaped like a tulip bud, tying the design together beautifully.  A practical alternative to silver plate, offering the bright silver look without polishing concerns. Ideal for serving vegetables, potatoes, rolls, side dishes, or as a decorative centerpiece.  Size: 9” across, 5” tall to top of tulip finial, bowl height 2.5”  Condition: Good vintage condition with light signs of use. Surface shows the expected mild scratches, burnishing, and utensil marks that develop with age and use. No major dents or structural issues noted. Marked Wilton Mount, Joy, Pennsylvania, USA.
