【Serviced & Tested】Minolta HI-MATIC ☆ Easy to use, great photos, even went to space ♪

This is the minolta HI-MATIC, a rangefinder camera released over 60 years ago by the now-defunct camera manufacturer, Minolta.

It's a Program EE camera where the camera automatically determines the shutter speed and aperture based on the strength of external light using a selenium photocell (similar to a solar cell). Once you focus using the superimposed image in the viewfinder, you can easily take beautiful photos just by pressing the shutter button.
This is a historic camera that was advanced for its time and even went to space.

This camera was previously listed, but due to a malfunction, it was returned, disassembled, and readjusted.

Please refer to the images for the exterior condition.
The leatherette has been replaced with brown genuine cowhide leather, using a thicker material.
The viewfinder and lens have been thoroughly cleaned; the lens has only minor dust.
All light-blocking foam has been replaced.
Operation has been confirmed to the best of my ability.
(Shutter, self-timer, film winding & rewinding, back cover opening/closing, infinity focus in superimposed image, focus helicoid, AUTO↔aperture dial)

Actual shooting results have been confirmed (last 6 photos).
The images use data digitized at 10 million pixels after development (no processing has been applied).
The film used was FUJICOLOR 200.
It produces vibrant colors even with color negatives.

In addition to the camera body, a genuine lens cap is included.

A unique point of the HI-MATIC is that the aperture dial will not unlock and turn, and the exposure meter will not function unless the film is wound. Please be mindful of this when using the camera.
The aperture value can be changed, but the shutter speed is fixed at 1/30 second.
The exposure meter visualizes whether EE shooting is possible and does not display shutter speeds or aperture values.
I am knowledgeable about the HI-MATIC, so please ask any questions you may have.

Thank you for your consideration.
